Default What local shop might create custom pressure hose?

What local shop might I think to contact to see about creating a custom hose like the one pictured?

The hose will connect the output of the air compressor to the air tank. The fitting on the hose is the compressor side. The other end is where I'd like to have a similar fitting - permanent crimp vs. hardware store barb fitting with hose clamp.

    What say ye?

Or buy the fittings and hose and we can use my hydraulic crimper. I have most sized dies, just don't use it often

A lot of NAPA stores do hose work also.

Thanks for the recommendations folks! A hose is in my hands!

I went to Motion & Flow on the east side of town. I didn't know what to expect as their web site was "glossy" where the place might have been more "corporate sales" than a working shop where hoses are constructed. The place is perhaps a nice mix of both - their counter service & shop were just what was needed. They had an isle or two of fittings with a couple gents working with customers. I waited all of two minutes before being served. I showed the old/sample hose and described my use. He asked about temps and pressures and made a suggestion. He walked to the isle bins and pulled out two fittings to match what I need to connect and we walked into the shop where he showed the hose to me.

The fittings he showed do not have external crimping and do not need it. He said the hose is like the Chinese finger locks - as it starts to pull off it tightens on the fitting. He said the hose will burst before it slides off of the fitting. While they worked to push the hose onto the fittings I did another lap of the showroom.

Total cost $29.40. About what I had in mind.

Now to give it a good test - get it good and hot.

I thunk I may go there to get a new brake line since that JB Kwik Weld didn't do much today.

How much did your fluid drop? Did you have any low/no pedal events?

I didn't check the fluid level yet but the line was still dripping at the end of the day. The pedal was ok for the day but a little soft.

They do not make brake lines at the Fort Collins location.

Zip-Tie and fuel line "stand-offs" mounting is something I learned in the ultralight world.

Probably a insurance thing. Used to be just some stainless tube, fittings, and a flare tool to make lines. Flex is a bit different.
