Thread: Red Elephant/Bill Moore/Mill Creek

This is just off the colo4x4.com site:

Red Elephant and Mill Creek are both open and runnable. They did a part of Bill Moore Lake , so that is probably open all the way (judging from the other 2 trails being open) or is darn close.

Spring creek is also open.

If anyone hears of other trails opening up, especially with the snow pack this year, let's post them to help with trail run plans.

Well, I'm kinda heading up to that elevation this weekend. I want to see how far along Kingstion Peak is. About 3 years ago (give or take) I ran into some snow drifts on the 4th of July.

Anyone wanna do spring creek this Saturday? I'm dying to get out. I just got my rim replaced and and I want to bash it up just enough to match the other 3. Haha

Steve, the FS Ranger I had riding with me said Kingston wasn't open yet, but some of the lower stuff had opened up. I think I remember him saying Loch Lomand (sp?) was opened, but wasn't sure so I didn't post it.

Bummer... It's probably still drift covered (at about tree line) on the Apex side.
