Nothing but a bit of drizzle here in South Denver so far (on Fri night) - no freezing temps yet. Keeping an eye on temps as will need to blow out irrigation system if the temps look to drop much lower than currently expected. Probably going to harvest the last of the veggies today (mostly tomatoes) and call it good. We had a very late harvest this year, other than cucumbers which came early and often and peppers never really came in. The late harvest possibly because of the hot and dry early summer months - although I think we may have been having some issues with pollination. Temps are dropping, there is minimal water left for kayaking - even on dam releases - snow is coming to the high country and heading to Fruita next weekend as well as Moab after that. Summer is about over...

Snow in Telluride and over Lizard Head pass today as I went through. Many low reservoirs so hoping for a lot of moisture this winter.

Did China Wall yesterday and there was some snow still hanging on just above trail elevation. Stayed for a night run from the river back to the highway and it started "spitting" a little snow around 8:00pm at the end of the trail.

Gas up the plow Paul! Looks like you're in for a "real" snow fall tonight and tomorrow! (My house is only at a mile and a half or so but still expecting a measurable amount)!!

Rolling north from the trails today the clouds were creeping southeast from Wyoming. Turn to the S/E - clear blue sky - but not for long.

I'll be curious how much, if any, FoCo receives. A dumping would be GREAT (though busted trees wouldn't be nice).
