Mnt. Herman Rd. and Schubarth Loop
Mark and I went down that way to do a little shake down run. The area was pretty dry, we basically stayed on the main road and trails, I really like Schubarth loop, it is very unique. Tight in some areas it is a very fun easy trail, would be a great area when the aspens turn. While we came down to the bottom of the trail where the run off (creek) runs through, it must have been a problem for who ever was running the trail as this vehicle will need to be recovered once things thaw out. That portion of the trail was iced over and wasn't a problem for us. I must say that is one reason I don't venture out alone. The car is a loss, but I just don't understand why people vandalize things Go figure. If you ever have to abanon your rig even for just a day. Be prepared to be disapointed in man kind. I have seen this on other trails.
