Some legal update - Mahindra has won the court battle (at least for now):
https://www.moneycontrol.com/news/te...v-3230031.html
Its kind of an interesting case as FCA wants to protect their ownership rights of Jeep (as it was passed through all its predecessor owners like Willys, Kaiser, AMC, Chrysler, Daimler and now FCA) - but Mahindra has rights from the early Willys days. Honestly, I don't think Mahindra sales will take much away from FCA as the the Roxor isn't really a competitor of current Jeep vehicles like the JL - it competes more with side by sides and the like. But I think control over the name and use of jeep like imagery is more the concern. Being able to control the image and marketing of the jeep imagery is probably more valuable than anything else.

Roxor has moved into the off-road trailer segment....pretty pricey in IMHO, but there does seem to be a market for this with the overlanding focus and trailer tents etc...

You said "pretty pricey", and I thought "sure, $2500". I should have applied the standard formula of "double it and add 10" instead! That's a pretty expensive trailer. There are more affordable options (https://www.spacetrailers.com/product/6500-highrider/), but lower payload. That Roxor trailer does look nice.
Once you are over $1k for a trailer - its all too expensive for me....I am looking for a raft trailer, and the nice new ones are around $2k (hell, I could buy a jeep hauler for that - although I couldn't pull it with the Taco). I have a little bigger oar rig than the standard float/fishing rigs here in Colo - so a homebuilt HF trailer won't quite cut-it, but I am thinking $500 max. Back in college when my DD was a CJ7 and I needed a way to carry my kayaks etc around - I bought a little haulin 4x8 flatbed trailer from a farmer up around Longmont for like $100 - it wasn't titled. Got a homebuilt title, redid the wheel bearings, new plywood deck and I built some side and end rails for it as well (made it easier to put coolers and other gear). After a couple years I used to move to TX for a bit (it withstood a nice bump in the rear end from a semi at a red-light in Amarillo from a sleepy driver) and ended up selling it (after I sold the CJ7) to a friend for like $50 (which was probably a steal - but I think I was literally moving out of town the next day and didn't want to take it with me). Today that thing would sell for $500! Whatever happened to cheap little trailers?

There are some project types that are out there depending on the size and how much you want to work on it. They claim this is about 5 1/2 x 10 with title, new lights and tires: https://denver.craigslist.org/tro/d/...972801140.html
Westbound I-80 in Iowa today was a car hauler with army-ish green Roxors.
If the articles didn't cover this, I understand that the history of the Indians getting the rights and plans to build this was during WWII, the US gave that all to Britain, and they passed it along to their Indian colonies for cheap production. They've been building them ever since. But like he axe that Abe owed, its had the handle replaced 4 times and the head twice...

I have one like this in one bay of my garage, 10' long bed x 7'2 wide. https://westslope.craigslist.org/tro...965411898.html
We have some different Roxor threads going, but figured this one is as good as any to post the most recent legal decision on the Mahindra/FCA suits:

You can get a good, street legal Jeep for $16,000. Or https://denver.craigslist.org/snw/d/...141892700.html
The Craigslist ad got deleted, but it was a sporty side by side.
