The Jack Wagon

Hello everyone, I'm new to jeeping. Got myself a 2005 LJ based on my very good friends recommendation. After getting it from a used car dealer we have found it to have many issues. Enough issues that we have name him Jack. Short for Jack Wagon. So far we have replaced the Control Arms, Ball joints, shocks, rear axle, Steering stabilizer, along with doing some upgrades to the gears. It now sports a Dana 448 and are currently working on leaks all over from the oil pan, to the rear main seal and some O2 leak some place that I can't seem to find. And with all the luck this thing has had I'm sure there is more that has not shown it self yet. All in all I'm very proud of the work we have done on this thing. I'm looking forward to learning more and have a good time with my wife and friends as we explore Colorado in our jeep!

Sounds about the same for me. These Control Arms were shot! Driving on I25 I felt like it was gonna fall apart. Now I can drive with one hand on the wheel. Still terribly bouncy. Don't know if the new shocks I bought are not right but that is something I need to look into.
