In the past I have been diligent about arranging this in advance, but Thanksgiving snuck up on me this year. This is basically a meet/greet and donate to a good cause.
This would need to be next weekend 11/18 or 11/19. Are people interested?

Hell yes. The turkey run was our first run with this group last year. It's been fun and we're eager to go help people out.
Most likely a yes, would like to have more information before I commit.
Either with the run on online I'm in. If anyone can't make it you can still contribute: https://www.denverrescuemission.org/donate
Details: we will all meet downtown Denver (typically Pepsi Center) either Saturday or Sunday morning usually around 9ish. Typically there is a bunch of standing around and doing a bit of a meet/greet before we drive over to the Denver Rescue Mission at Lawrence St. and Park Ave. Most times afterwards we go out for breakfast, typically at the Denver Diner.
The Denver Rescue Mission asks for frozen turkeys to provide to homeless as well as families who are unable to afford a Thanksgiving meal. They need 10,000 turkeys to be able to meet their needs. The Denver Rescue Mission is always in need of other non-perishable foods, clothing, shoes, and other household items. Basically the only things they don't take is appliances and furniture.
We encourage each attending member to bring at least 1 turkey (more are welcome!), or as Paul mentioned you can always donate in person anytime, or even donate online.
