6 rigs in all, nice day, good peeps. Sunny, snow, blizzard, sleet, snow pellets, overcast, back to sun. Typical fall wx in the Rockies. Some of us had a hard time with traction on the inclines but no one had to winch.

It was a good run today and glad it was set up, basically ran Eldorado Mountain to Caribou Road. Fun to be the impromptu lead vehicle on a trail I hadn't been on as well. I will need to get to Caribou next summer since we didn't go there today. As Fred stated, a good mix of Colorado weather today and a good group of people to be with.

Superb day all...fun in the snow and no winching needed! The pics look great so far. We stopped for a 4 mile hike at Golden Gate Canyon SP on our way home so we just pulled in and are ready to eat! Later this evening I will get some photos loaded - Jen was taking lots...hope a few turned out. I am sure we will have lots of pics of the back end of Max's jeep.

Great pix, bummed I missed it. Love seeing Jeeps on the trails, on happy tags! That's the only way to go. Sounds like it was an awesome day.

Playing around with the GPX file from yesterday, the route included Eldorado Mountain, on to Mineral Mountain, then around Caribou Hill. The various colors in the route are actually sub-routes between stops, whether they were slippery sections, regrouping, etc. I think I like this image better than just importing it into Google Earth, though there, the actual terrain can be examined in the satellite view. Thought i would share.
