Look for them during Christmas. I got one $30 at Home Depot waited until
just a week before the holiday when they marked them down. But you will need to invest
in some high quality memory disk to really get good videos, you want extra anyway

That sounds like a great price. So I would just look for the memory disk or is it a chip, but with the largest memory capacity ??
If you already have a point and shoot or similar with a standard 1/4" x 20 tripod mount hole, or just a tripod mount for your phone, you can buy GoPro adapters for it, I got a nice aluminum one on amazon like this https://www.amazon.com/Action-ALUMIN...6A359SXV5AJ9KQ
and use inexpensive gopro mounts for what you already have. You can stick those things anywhere, and the ones made for tripods bolt on easily to lots of things.
I have two GoPros. Older models can be picked up pretty cheap.
Gotta Garmin Virb Elite. Can be found for under $150 now. Very happy with it.

Are you looking to sell them? I don't think I need two of them. How large is the memory, can I plug directly into laptop for down loads??

I have a VIRB Elite too, great camera. Better app than GoPro, and Ithink it actually is partially Gopro technology because the Gopro software recognizes it as a Hero 4 Session. There is a cheaper version- the VIRB, not VIRB Elite, is the same camera without the GPS logging. They are discontinued and go for about $75.00. The only downside is that top resolution is 1080, but I never gohigher than that anyway. It comes with an adapter to use with Gopro mounts, and the Garmin mounts are good too. Unless you forget them like I did on our last trip to Grand Mesa, I had to use duct tape and cable ties to rig it to the dashboard.
One caveat- the Garmin VIRB Edit software, in the current version, http://www8.garmin.com/support/downl...ls.jsp?id=6591 is crashing like crazy. I have a ticket with tech support, but they told me it likely will be resolved in the next upgrade. I've downloaded Dashware http://www.dashware.net/ but am not too impressed with it so far...
