Has anybody ran Cascade Creek? Seems close to Denver. Was wondering how it is.

It is relatively easy, until the end. Ran it a few years ago. Counter clockwise
At the end it get very difficult for vehicles with little to no ground clearance
steap like ledges down hill have to pick good lines not to hit
under carage. (About 50 yards) that is the only real difficult part
that I can remember, nice trail.
Some parts of FS 710 are choppy, some are not. What are you looking for as an experience?

I understand why this was listed in Trail Directory, but as it has flown, I think General (or Planning) is more on point. Moving to General...

I looked up a map online but couldn't find the trail head to cascade Creek.
I have a book that says to get off highway I-70 at exit 240 head south
on 103 towards Mnt.Evans turn right on Cascade Creek Road about 1/2
mile past mile marker 5
When we did the trail we took the first right and ran it counter clockwise
like the book sudjested. It would be good to have a map of the trail
as there is a lot of privite property and lots of forks that you will need
to know the direction to go, if you want to do spring creek you will
be doing about half of cascade creek. The mine area was pretty cool
if your interested in that.
