Alex (Redneck23ms) and I ran Grizzly, Iron Chest and later ran Tincup pass all the way to the town of Tincup. Somewhat of a soggy weekend with a pretty good hail storm coming down just as we came off of Iron Chest. First we ran Grizzly and walked the "guardian" rocks up to the steep part where a set of rocks placed in a precarious position kicked me sideways towards the edge of the shelf road. Was in no real danger but the pucker factor was there. We got to the top and the views where awesome! While at the top we met some nice folks from Wisconsin that wanted to run Iron Chest with us. Iron Chest was fairly uneventful and in my opinion much more tamed down than previous times ran, but the views I'll never get tired of. We called it a day after Iron Chest and decided to run Tincup pass all the way to the town. We stopped at Mirror Lake and let the dogs have a swim then proceeded to the town of Tincup where we visited the old cemetary. Had a great time, love that area!
