New Member in Colorado Springs
Greeting everyone! Looking forward to meeting new wheelers in the area who like to get out and explore as much as I do. Spent all last summer road tripping and overlanding through the North West for 2 1/2 months and am hoping to explore more of Colorado and surrounding areas this summer. I usually try to get out and explore at least a few days a week and really enjoy exploring old mining areas and ghost towns as well as photographing the endless natural beauty of the state. I've lived in Colorado for about 3 years, but have been coming here regularly for the last 15 year as my father lived here before he passed away in 2008. Prior to moving here I lived in California for almost 27 years, can't say I miss the So Cal traffic in the least. I've been wrenching on muscle cars and hotrods on and off since I was 13 years old and have just recently sold all my fast toys in favor of a 4wheel drive, which seemed more useful and enjoyable in the mountains. While I miss the hotrods I love heading in a new direction and like having a vehicle that doesn't get locked in a garage half the year. Thanks for having me in the group!
