I'm going to just come on Sunday instead of camping out, instead I am going to take tonight and tomorrow to get the winch installed, so we'll probably be messing around with that after the main runs. I'd like to test my splice before I'm in a dire situation... although I'd imagine a bowline could work in a pinch.

Looking forward to running these again, Molly's coming, this might win her back from the beating that was Mt. Antero. Here's hoping at least.

Heather do you know about what time we should be done on Sunday? Son is trying to set up a date and I have no idea how long to expect. I know that a specific time is not possible. Do you think we will be back to the trailhead by 5 or 6?

Sorry! Just saw this. Barring any unforeseen unfortunate events, we should absolutely be done by then. It's only about a 3-4 hour trail, not including picture stops and lunch.
