XJ to SJ
Hey guys! I joined up her quite a while back after I had been building/wheeling a 93 Jeep XJ for quite a while. I think I posted an introduction here and then shortly after that I sold the Jeep for a bunch of reasons. It was a bunch of fun to build and I learned a lot. 44/9 inch combo with a custom 3 link up front that took me all over the state and to Moab a few times.
Well, I started craving some 4 low in my life, so I snagged this 88.5 Samurai for $300 bucks off of CL on December 26th (Merry Christmas to me!) It barely ran, none of the lights worked, the seats were safety wired in, and it was overall real rough around the edges! I've spent the past couple months slowly working on it, and if things go as planned I'll have it registered and plated by the end of the month! These things have a tricky little computer controlled carb with a nest of vacuum lines that has been fun to sort out to get it to pass emissions!
Anyway, I'm excited to be posting here and I plan on starting a build thread here soon!
