    Default Clamshell Bearing Puller

If you have ever wanted to delve in to doing your own gears then this tool is a must! http://www.ebay.com/itm/251922993534...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
At first I was skeptical because it is half the price of a Yukon set but in doing research, it actually is the exact same tool just colored differently. It is well worth it's weight in gold! My backlash in the new axle was way off and took me a few times to get it set correctly and this gem pulled the carrier bearings without any damage to the bearings or shims. Just thought Id share the info!

    These are sweet!

For the folks who have not used them.....

They preload the bearing, thus the rollers lock into the cup of the backing for the bearing.
Thus pulling the bearing from all the way around and lifting it off without damaging the bearing set.
Yukon wants like $500 for them.

The only other way to do gears is with setup bearings!
