It was a nice day out!
With no top on the jeep, I awoke to 30F temps - but with the temp listed to hit 70F I stayed top down and tossed on a winter coat. Down to Loveland K-Mart I was the last to pull in. We waited until about 5 til 9 and headed out for the east trailhead. The Cheyenne Contingent showed up shortly thereafter. Aired down we headed up. The 70's carb'd Blazer (`hope I have all of that correct) gave some fits on the incline but up at the first campsite / vista spot the carb's float level was reduced - a slick feature of that carb - not needing to take it apart to tackle it.
At the Quarry there were a couple other jeeps out to play plus a few from our group. Winch lines came out twice - the first for a bit of a tug up the main obstacle and a second as insurance to keep a jeep from rolling on one of the upper obstacles.
From the quarry we headed to the west trailhead and went down to 44H and back to the east trailhead to load up and air up.
