Thumbs up TJ Flasher - Inexpensive LED Option

Went to VatoZone last night, needed to replace my failed OE flasher, and found that this $28 unit is a direct OE replacement and is LED compatible.

    http://www.autozone.com/electrical-a...?checkfit=true

I've installed and it works great with both incandescent/led bulbs. Much cheaper than the NAPA/Advance alternatives for OE replacement (those were $45-50) that I'm unsure if they're LED compatible or not.

    Just fyi. Cheers

Nice. I just left mine alone and they flash fast. If it goes out I'll likely get one of these.

Much cheaper to just add a resistor available everywhere.

This is a cheaper replacement if the flasher fails, not just to get rid of the fast flashing caused by LED.

Also cheaper than buying the non-eBay LED's that have the resistors in them.

They were talked up on the 4Runner forum but they are a ***** to get to on my truck so I went the cheap resister route.

    No resistor needed on TJs
