Epic 9 Pass Easy Autumn Loop, Comments Please

I'd like some comments on a long I-70 centric autumn colors loop I'm considering running with my wife. It's all very easy.


Epic 5 to 9 Pass Autumn Loop

I-70 to Bergen Park
Squaw Pass to Echo Lake
Echo Lake to Idaho Springs
I-70 to Georgetown
Guanella Pass to Grant
Kenosha Pass to Como
Boreas Pass to Breckenridge
Hwy 9 and Hoosier Pass to Frisco
Head home on I-70,

OR

Continue west toward Copper Mountain
Hwy 91 and Fremont Pass to Leadville
Hwy 24 and Tennessee Pass to Red Cliff
Shrine Pass to Vail Pass
I-70 home

if you do the 2nd route id add in independence pass towards aspen. either to the top and back or all the way to aspen then maybe hagerman pass or something else back. the east side of independence pass is pretty good for aspens. the west side isn't as good.

and kenosha pass is still probably a couple weeks out on being good. went through there sunday and mostly still green with only a few spots starting to turn
