wow... I was kinda expecting a little whinny " This is why you go to a pro" or " look they used a metric bolt where when you really should have a 3/8 fine thread.." video about how only high end restorations are the way to go. I'm a bit of a shade tree git-r-done so you can enjoy it and use it guy and thing the the perfect to the bolt restorations are kinda pointless unless you have Jay Leno money...

But this was kind of sickening. I'm not sure what is worse, that someone would be so blatantly negligent and dishonest to scam someone out of that kind of money or that someone can drop that kind of money on a truck and not know enough to see some of these issues. I don't mean to blame the victim here, but I feel like you should know when you out of your element and at least bring someone or hire someone to check the truck out with you in this case. Heck, I feel like I know a heck of a lot about automotive stuff and I'd probably still hire a rover professional if I was looking to spend that kind of money.. yikes.

Unbelievable. Sadly I have seen some sketchy defenders. Usually they are under coated over a lot of rust and painted with a fresh paint job over rust. This takes the cake though. New owner should have had someone do a thorough inspection prior to buying it.

Caveat emptor! Buying anything without checking it out is risky at best. Sad to see anyone get screwed.
