I went out to Gordon Gulch, Pennsylvania Gulch and Switzerland trail today with a friend. There were a few gnarly parts on big one on Gordon then multiple fairly intimidating ones on Pennsylvania. Over all it was a good day minimal to no body damage other then pulling my license plate off but that was easily fixed. Towards the end the rain got really bad and it even hailed some but we made it out just fine. The area was awfully busy with lots of people camping and others offroading like us or riding dirtbikes.
First real gnarly area. That drop off is a good 3 feet or so and goes straight down. There is a second one closer to the trucks that is about half the size and the the side of that drop off is a flat area if you want to by pass the drop offs.
This is the smallest drop off. The picture doesn't do it much justice. Both my friend and I hit this one but skipped the bigger one.
Ended up going down (should only go up) Pennsylvania Gulch on accident fortunately whenever we ran into someone there was a pull off close by. Unfortunately no more decent pictures.
Most of the way down Pennsylvania gulch it started raining. By the time we got to the bottom it was coming down pretty good and some small hail as well. Switzerland trail turned into a river but we made it out fine.
Best Picture I got of the weather.
Of course at the end we find a big puddle so we had to play a little.
I should get some more pictures either tonight or tomorrow which I will upload for your guys viewing pleasure.
