24v so it's got to me military or just huge!

Unsure if you can run a 24v winch off a diesel. I know most if not all military rigs are 24v. I think there are a couple people here with M1009 models.

The m1009 are 12v they are hopped up k5 blazers.
They got the 6.2l diesel junk and the 6.5l diesel as well.
Most are 1tons some late ones got the d44 front end making them a 3/4 ton.

Hmmm... I thought they were 24v, but then again I have never worked on one. Maybe they sold them in both 24v and 12v versions?

Yup sure did, the 1/2 ton junk was 12v
The heavy stuff was 24v
And most the retailers convert them now.
