I think I seen something on this, on the news the other night. They were predicting it would die in the State Senate (or something along those lines). Never heard anymore on it.

I don't think you have to do anything about this except wait it out; this whole debate is going to be out the window in the next ten or so years, IMO, when 3d printing becomes more mainstream and nobody buys murder weapons anymore. Then the challenge will be to ban print media that can make guns, without banning media that can make autoparts. That's going to be another huge mess. It's never going to end.

not what I meant. I meant that it will go away on it's own as technology changes. The squeaky wheel gets the grease, always speak your mind. On it's own the law is toothless and symbolic, and about as enforceable on the state level as weed laws are; anyone with a car and a dream can get whatever they want. If it ever goes federal it will do something, but it's just a hot potato now.

I get what you're saying Paul. Yes, it's a toothless law - but still it is in effect and for those who are on the side of being law abiding vs. choosing civil disobedience (which does have a time and place), I would like to see it repealed. If for nothing else than to not have the mental, "could I get hassled" for having a 30 round mag at an outdoor shooting range.

Born in 1860 in Macon County, North Carolina, he is perhaps best remembered for ordering National Guard troops into Ludlow, Colorado during the Ludlow Massacre. He was also instrumental in starting the National Western Stock Show, which is still active. His son Teller Ammons was also governor of Colorado. He died in Denver, Colorado in 1925 and was buried in Fairmount Cemetery in Denver.
