    Default Creepers

After having my 2nd creeper fall apart after about 5 years (2 different HF models), I figure it is time to find something better.

Anyone have a good model they prefer? I saw this and liked it. I would need to get a low profile one. Every inch of height counts.

I also saw this link where a guy built his own:

but this one HAS to be the coolest! You HAVE to watch the video to understand it as no pics would give it justice.

There is another built one in this link. Very nice design with what looks like rollerblade wheels.

I have seen the bone creepers before. Never used one though. Do you like them?

This one is interesting, but having the air hose drag around with you would get annoying.

Thanks. I had considered them, but just wasn't sure how they would hold up. I have read good things, so glad that you like it as well. I am giving it serious consideration.

I have a...............hmm. I was just on it today too. It's either Mac or Matco, standard width (which is too wide occasionally) but the best part about it, adjustable height headrest. When doing a clutch or the like and you'll be on it for hours, it really saves the muscles from having to hold your head up for long periods of time. I won't buy a creeper without one ever again. I've even fallen asleep on it at work while working under a truck one time. OOPS!! It's low profile and rolls easy on a clean floor. Only drawback is it doesn't take much to stop a wheel which is where the bone would be nice for sure. Mine is pretty much exactly like this one:

I'll tell you one thing I had when wrenching full time was a creeper seat. Mine was a cheap little dude from Auto Zone or something, but that thing was great too.

The mechanics hoist is way cool....our floor is not that smooth so it would get stuck.
    But way cool unit.

Just remember you will be on this thing a ton.
