    Default New DD

So I was getting pretty fed up with my 7.3L diesel. I was spending way too much money and time on keeping it running. I was about ready to start truck shopping, and it broke down on my as I was leaving work last Friday, which sped up my shopping a bit. Ended up finding a good deal on a 2016 F350. Finally, less working on the truck and more taking it out to play! puts down about twice the power as the old rig too.

    Nice!

At least the old one gave up after work on a Friday vs. on the way to work on a Monday.

Sweet....I still call dibs on the bumpers off your old one before you sell it

I'm gonna have to leave an hour before you now when we go wheeling.

I think it came with several versions but Steve's has the 6.7 Scorpion engine.

Its great. I drove all the major brands, since I thought I was done with Ford, but it was really the only one I liked in the end

The ford is a good truck. The in house engine is far better than the last 2 from navastar!
Your someplace in the 550- 570 hp range.
The dealers have been recalling them to turn them up!
We'll see how it last compaired to the Cummins.

    Enjoy your new truck.
    Platinum edition even!

    Wow, great truck! Congratulations!

Im curious what year and miles you had on the old truck with the 7.3 before it became a lot of trouble. I have an 01 F350 with the same engine.

Its an 01 that currently has 224,xxx on it. It was largely trouble for me from the time I bought it though, which was 161,xxx miles about 3 years ago. Everyone else seems to love the 7.3 though and didnt have the same experience as me. I think mine had been abused horribly before I got it, and the previous work that was done was done poorly.
