Not that I have noticed. I think it doesn't really matters it's always making the noise.

Grease them before I put them on then 100 miles after like the instructions suggested.

So I am assuming it's on of the U-joints on the driveshaft. Would it just be wise to replace both at the same time instead of trying to decipher which one it is?
