Saran wrap via cedar mt. road nov.8th

Novenber 8th we are looking to run a southern trail.

I am looking at coing in a different way.
I wll come down cedar mt. road.
Thjs will give a Idea for conditions for the day.
It will be an early start for us as its a 2 hour trip and I would like to be at the trail head by 9.

Pencil us in. We have friends in the Springs that we can stay with on Saturday night so time is fine with us. I'm not sure where cedar mt road is? And as mentioned before, I do need to run Mt. Rosa as well, easy little trail, helluva scenic overlook from a little spur trail, will take less than an hour to run in and out if you'd like to start there? If not, I'll either try and get it ran before we meet up or after saran wrap.

Cedar mt. road is a dirt trac from south of Deckers it exits just west of Manitou springs on the othrr side of the freeway from where you exit on the west end of the road you come in on from the springs.

Might be interested in joining you for that.

By "just west" you mean "significantly west" of Manitou Springs. Cedar Mountain Road comes out at Divide which is like 20 miles west of Manitou Springs.

Ya more west than just a little.
But its the same crossing we came out to when we did the road the leads to saran wrap.

So I have some interest to run a trail on saturday as well. Thus puts us staying down there over night.
I am looking in to a group rate see what say 4 rooms would be....
Who would be bown for a saturday run as well.

We have friends down there and stay with them once in a while. We were planning on going there Saturday night, but I dont think there is any reason we couldn't go one night earlier. What else are you thinking of running?

you guys realize saran wrap is on gold camp road right ?
and you can get there from divide but you have to take hwy 67 to 64 to gold camp and that is roughly a 1.5 hour trip

The forest service opened it at the end of last summer. Gold campmis now possible from coloradomsprings

oh ya its been open for a while they just said were coming in via cedar mtn road but that dumps into divide

As we have to many cancelations for our group we will not be coming down this weekend.
