It was just my 3 1/2 year old daughter and I for this trip so I opted for a tamer trail. It was pretty easy going for most of it. The exception was the 357B and 357A loop on the southeast side, it got narrow and steep and I wouldn't advise full size vehicles going on this part (if you do take the loop going in from the 357A side means you'll have a steep hill to climb instead of going down it). The four water crossings were a nice touch and easy to cross. The 50" 717 ATV trail system criss-crosses most of the area so keep an eye out for them. Where the trail starts to the north is an open area for lunch and airing down/up. Shooting is allowed in this part of the woods as well; the few rules that were posted include the usual don't shoot toward campsites and don't shoot toward roads. I had cell phone signal (AT&T) throughout most of this trail so if something breaks or you need help making a call is doable.
