Just got home. Haven't cleaned up yet. Cleared lots of downed trees and other maintenance. Little snow. As of apprx 3:40 pm MSV- Connie Flats is officially open. May be a few days before it appears on the Forest Service web site though.


Obstacle near the entrance has had work too.

Just heard Johnny Park opened today too.

We were up at Jonny park today....made it to the top of fs116.2 snow drifts at the top were deep.
but busted them and all the way up to the top.
Was great weather.

the trail we ran wasn't johnny park. we passed the road to johnny park on our way there though. it is just north of the meeker park store on the east side of the road. after looking at a map i believe trail we ran is known as rock creek.

Very nice.
we spoke to a gental man yesterday evening in lyons that is from the trailgidge runners.
thank you to that club for all there work to get the trail open.
he said the gate keeper needed quite a bit of work.
I guezs someone pulled one of the larger rocks out to gain access.
Once again some inexperienced unprepared person trying togo where they shouldn't.
Let alone destroying the hard work of many people.

Thanks to all for your hard work.
we look forward to running up there again.
