I'd say everything's clear on that mountain until about 10,000'

Cascade Creek was mostly clear up until that last freak snowfall a couple weeks ago.

Slaughterhouse was completely clear last weekend.

x 2. Last weekend, folks were indicating it was snowed in past the first obstacle. In fact, one dude issued an SOS and needed help at the first obstacle due to the snow.

Whenever you're ready, post up a run. I'll join you. I love Spring Creek.

Wow, they got a lot of snow up there then.

I heard 20+ inches, didn't believe them when Slaughterhouse was totally clear. Quite a bit colder up there and less southern exposure I guess.

Yeah, that last snow dump was amazing. I measured everywhere from 2-4 feet because of drifts.
I tried to shovel the driveway...(forget about it)
I tried to bash my way out of the garage with the Jeep...(forget about it)
Then I spent hours searching for someone to plow out my driveway. Everyone I talked to said that even the the CDOT plows were stuck in the ditches. It was a complete mess.
One guy I called was kind enough to answer the phone, but told me HE was stuck in a ditch and was going to miss his flight for a pre-planned vacation. (I told him I would help if I could get out of my garage).
I finally got plowed out of my garage for $75.

I ran it on Sunday with a square body group. We got stopped on the shelf road after the first obstacle. There were 6 of us and it was a nightmare to turn around. We drove passed the turn around and the last guy in the group turned his rig around, then the rest of us backed down the shelf and turned around one by one.

We were drift running on the shelf road and it was pretty sketchy. Very slick.

Heres a video a group member shot of coming down the after we turned around.

I was leading and coming back down I was the last in the group. The more packed down we got it the slicker it got.

Just wondering, is all this rain going to help or hurt the trails with snow?
