I was pulling into a local shopping center when I saw back-up lights on one of the cars in front of the store we were visiting. I flashed the lights twice, the car sat there. I pulled forward and let my Mrs. out, so she could go inside. The car started backing out, slowly, tentatively, I used the light switch to give him the "all clear." By this time my Mrs. was out of the Ranger. I wanted to cross the oncoming lane, so I waited for this car to move on. It did not move on, it pulled forward a few feet while turning the wheel. When it stopped forward movement, I kind of thought the driver could not visualize turning the wheel and pulling forward to get out. I backed up four or five parking spaces. As the other car drove past, their horn honked. I looked over to see the other driver giving the one finger salute. Yep, I am still number one!
Since the other driver was much younger than me, I started wondering: What is the current meaning of "two flashes," when you are operating a motor vehicle???
