    Default Diesel doc's 04 TJ

So I thought I should start a thread on my jeep. It fairly stock the list below is all it had when I bought it except for the welded rear and front bumper.
    2004 TJ sport:
    33" tires
    1.5" spacers up front
    4.10 gears
    Custom bumpers front and rear
    welded rear d44
    Rusty's sterring upgrades

The ultimate plan for this jeep is 37" tires, 100" wheel base, 4" lift long arm 3 link front 4 linked triangulation in the rear, flat fenders up front crusher panels with flat fender in the rear, 76-77 ford bronco dana 44 front and 9" rear both loaded with 5.13 gears and ARB lockers, a Dana 300 replace a case from stak, dubbled with the little black box from Northwest fab. A winch ( not sure who's) and on boardd air.
Offroad lights LED for driving and rock lights for night wheeling.
This is a long term goal and will take a few years to build.

So I got my lights this week and my brackets.
The lights are built by Grote 3" round and 4" square.
I have a set or nears and fars in the 3" rounds.
The fars will mount on the A pillar brackets I got.
The 3" round nears will go on some tabs on the stinger that will be going on soon.
The 4" will be rock light under the jeep and one on my swing out for a reverse light.
poison spider A pillr light brackets for $42 after tax.
the 3" rounds are $85 dollars each for a walk in price.
I got my work discount and dam $45 each.
The squares are $110 walk in and $65 with the discount.

So I will be doing some wire work this weekend.
These lights will work on 10v-42v and wont pull more than a few a few amps to run.
they have huge cooling fins on the back so I bet they get hot.

The install will come tomorrow with pics to come.....

More pics. This is the far pattern, the back side has huge cooling fins!
They come with a duitz weather pack conector. The black wire it power with these....
I picked these as they are small, and round I like the round lights up front on a TJ as it ties into the jeep front makes them all look right. The big 4"-6" light take up to much windshield real estate.
My near patterns (defused lens) will be installed once I get the stinger installed.

So a few of the lights want on this past sunday.
It was strieght forward and basic.
Pull the 2 screws at the base of the windshield.
    Install the poison spider brackets.
Did the whole remove the cowel, the defrost vent piece, the plastic center face, and the lower panel with the rear defroster and rear wiper switches, and drill a hole for the switch.
I used 2 wire primary sheathed in gray, a single throw switch some heat shrink conectors and orr the the race, installed the lights.
Bolted down and snuged up theh still leave adjustability.

Pics are 1st just factory lights= suck!
    2nd is just the LED's
    3rd is both.
the fence is 100ft away at 8:30pm.
    4th front of jeep
5th close up of left side
6th is the side view of drivers side

Wow tons of light from 2 lights.
I still have 2 that will go on the sides of the stinger once it goes on
