New guy from Northglenn

Hello Y'all -
Took a few months to narrow down what I wanted but I found a 2013 JKUR on Christmas Eve. Now the fun starts - Lift & tires first, then bumpers & winch.... along with whatever I break as I go. Hopefully not too much because it is a driveway ornament as well as a weekend fun toy. Can't wait to get out and play. Did a little drive behind Central City (broke the cardinal rule and went alone but had strong help to dig if needed) and was surprised by the difference from this ride and the 97 sport I had 15 years ago. Tomorrow will probably be a trip to get some essentials - rope / chain / straps, safety equipment, etc so I'm ready for the next trip. And 2-3 people at work are in line to buy Jeeps or just bought one yesterday - should be a fun summer

Missed the invite 'scuf. Hoping to be able to next saturday - plus make the boss take his out. Coworker was dealing on a 2014 rubi Friday so maybe there will be a few of us.... Need easy to medium trails to check out the rides. Used to live 1/2 mile from Slaughterhouse - be a nice start.

Plans still on hold for the "frankenlift" I put together - Ordered from Tim at Northridge and they've been awesome so far. Rock Krawler is out of parts and set to build the 16th. Waiting sucks. I did replace the hail damaged hood that I bought from Ed in Aurora. I didn't think to ask if he was on this forum or not. If anyone knows him, thank him again. Hopefully I can get out soon and meet some of you soon. Seems a great group of folks. I want to get as much wheel time in as soon as possible so I can hit the difficult trails this Summer and not hurt anybody or myself. 90% of my time way back when I had a jeep before was Central City / Yankee Hill or Slaughterhouse - and that was mostly on a Yamaha ATV. Lived a mile from the entrance to Slaughterhouse. Round down and Shiny side up.
