You will have to excuse me, I have been holding this news in for months and am a little excited. A little over 7 months to be exact. And some know that I haven't done a great job at it. But after having to sign a NDA with a HUGE penalty, I figured keeping my mouth shut was for the best. Any way, if you know me, have met me, or have even read anything I have posted online, you can easily see I am good at making an ass outta myself. That and that I LOVE vehicles, of all shapes, sizes, and types. And someone at BBC America thought that would be a perfect combo for an episode of their new car based reality show, "Mud, Sweat, and Gears". Here is a description of the show:
" BBC AMERICA’s Mud, Sweat and Gears is a brand new competitive car show which hurtles onto screens in the New Year. Each week hosts Tom ‘Wookie’ Ford and Jonny Smith captain a team of two car nuts and go head-to-head to transform everyday vehicles. They have 24 hours to mutate, supersize and reconstruct – once transformed, the vehicles are raced in three extreme missions involving head-to-head sprints, timed challenges and stunts, lots of stunts. The missions are daring, adventurous, fun, and competitive – and all tied to different episode themes rolling out each week. Mud, Sweat and Gears premieres Monday, January 26 at 10:00pm ET on BBC AMERICA.

I can't really say much still because of the NDA, but I hope to be able to share with you all my full experiences once it has aired. I will say that it was a blast to film, and the two host, Tom Ford and Jonny Smith, were great. And our location for the shoot was downright awesome. It was truly an experience I won't forget. Heck, people all over the world will get to watch me make an idiot of myself. How many can say that?
The episode I will be in is set to air March 9th at 8pm MST. And I hope you will all be able to tune in and get a good laugh at my expense. Can't wait to see how they portray myself and my good buddy who was my teammate. Hopefully not too much like the a..holes we are in real life
I would like to host a small viewing party on the night of the air date, and am searching for a great venue. Needs to have plenty of TV's and access to food and alcohol and be close to Longmont/Boulder area. Anyone know of a decent spot? I was thinking of calling the newish Cinebarre in Louisville to see if they could accommodate. Thinking a movie theater could be a neat setting. Any other thoughts?
