T-33a is likely off the list. FS is listing Bunce as closed, thus, the southern gate @ Camp Dick and the northern gate just north of the T-33a intersection should have closed. Most of Bunce, north of the north gate, is open all year.

Maybe some of the North-enders can chime in here? I thought they only closed it off at the South end. I think we always enter from the North, off of Hwy 72? But, I'm not that familiar with the area. I do know we have been on Bunce/Ironclads for at least 2 New Years runs.

You can run Iron Clads year round. There is a gat blocking off T-33 that sometimes gets closed and then there is another gate between Bunce and where it drops into Camp Dick's gets closed.

Considering the lack of snow and that I just rode my Sport Tourer up there I wouldn't have expected them to close it. Oh well.

the FS closes the gates regardless of the snow down here in Arapaho...so I would think that if the FS site says the gate is closed, it's closed.

but that's just my experience in the Rollinsville area.

Here's the map TD has for those local trails, with Bunce being the main connector:
    http://www.traildamage.com/trails/bu...s/area_map.gif

If you look at Bunce (purple), it has a gate at the southern trailhead (Camp Dick). There is a second gate just north of the Park Creek (blue) / Bunce intersection. At what many consider the southern end of "the meadow". If the FS is listing Bunce as closed, I'd expect both of those gates to be closed.

Most of Bunce, Ironclads included, is open all year. I do not think a gate exists at the northern trailheads (there are two - one by the schoolhouse and one, a spur, to the Peak-to-Peak). A fair bit of Bunce is open so that property owners can access their driveways / houses (cabins).

And so it is. Apparently by me saying 'it's not on the calendar..." I really meant 'I have no idea how to navigate the calendar.'
