My camera sucks. No pics or video to share.

    Time for a new one.

Looks like an awesome run, I wish I could have made it.

Great work (or great try, at least) with the battery powered welding! You had welding rod with you, or what was the rod?

I'm glad your exposure did not reach the tipping point.

I never thought about it until a coworker told a story about holding some parts in place for someone to tack together. He decided to forgo eye protection and just shut his eyes. Turns out eyelids do not offer much in the way of UV filtration. He paid that price at dark-thirty in the morning when the irritation started.

Looks like i missed out on another fun snow run. I had to work on sat.

i was up in that area on friday tho at work and had to use the chains to get up close to our radio site, we still only got up parts way and had to walk the rest. I kind of want to go back in my truck and give it a shot

    Awesome.

I have a lot of respect for a guy who keeps welding rod in his trail rig.

Actually, that's a great idea. I already keep welding gloves, brazing goggles (which are almost shade 9 with sunglasses underneath) and a jumper cable in the rig, so I might as well stick some 6011 rods in the tool box, too.

It was a fun day on the mountain for sure. Andy, sure glad we got you off the trail great teamwork on this site, thanks to all! I am thinking one of the reasons the batteries didn't work is they really need to be at full charge for that use. Now that I have said that, the owners of the said batteries should now fully charge them now, after that use. Now to go get me some welding goggles for sure, and rods, and the new cordless dremel grinder! I have yellow tops in all my rigs, so I should be able to run with 2 fully charged on my runs, on top of the one in the Rubicon. Paul had posted a video on the battery welding and I was in awe. May not work on everything, but I have seen plenty of fixes that "could" have happened on trail, then kept wheelin the rest of the day.
Andy that little Sami is way cool!! Always fun wheelin with friends, was nice to make some new ones! On to some more pics...
