    Default Pickle Gulch June 15

Today was awesome, thank you to everyone who turned out, and a big thank you AGAIN to GlacierPaul for a great job of leading us! Pickle Gulch has changed, a lot of areas are eroded away and it was pretty challenging at times. The big hill with all the rocks in the early part is no longer the toughest spot, there is a long, slippery hill that gave us much more trouble. We stacked a lot of rocks, and everyone drove well. No real problems, just a fun run with good people. Here's a couple of pics, I have a lot more to go through and a lot of dust to wash out of my ears.

We had a great time! All those who left early really missed out! Glacier Paul took us on a great tour. Some of the best wheeling I've had in a while! Lots of water crossings, snow bashing and technical trail driving.

Thanks to GlaicerPaul, Brad, and big dodge guy for letting me tag along. Had a good time with all the snow and water crossings.

Yankee Hill was a fun climb too(still only used my rear locker and never slipped not sure why the 4dr fought it so hard lol) Just playing Paul Thanks for being cool and showing me around. Got my trackbar swapped so all is good.

Had a great time on this run, thanks GlacierPaul! I didn't take many pictures but here is one of Eric (I think) coming up the slippery hill.

Aidan and I had a blast, as usual , great fathers day! It is always a pleasure to lead, especially on, as Max put it, I call these "Paul" roads
I am sorry for the confusion going toward Kingston, I was leading the ones of you who wanted to get back to C.C./Blackhawk, to another road that ties back into Apex Rd.(more scenic I think), and those who wanted to run with me up Yankee could follow on another trail, no worries just trust me in my neck of the woods.
JeepWrench, if you saw all the stuff in the back of my Jeep...., it probably adds another 300+ pounds easy.
On to what pics I have..Started with the beautiful sunrise hitting Mt. Evans I enjoyed at work before the run

and the last of them. Love your Rubicon Max! The pics of Brad are on 175.1 heading up to Yankee just before the intersection with 271. It is a pretty good rut. I agree with Brad, it was one of the most enjoyable, multi trail condition runs I have done in a while too .

Was great to meet you new folks! Hope to see you out on a trail soon!

Max asked when I was planning my Yankee run, I am wanting Kingston to be open too, to do a grand tour if possible for folks.

Always great to wheel with Paul, Brad & Jenn, Rick & Rainne and Max!

Thanks for getting me out of that rut unscathed Paul!

Jenn took a few pics at the snow bank.
My first attempt. Got stuck but was able to back out.

second attempt almost got stuck on the exit, managed to sneak out before Paul got there to bail me out.

Paul went back for Jenn and got stuck coming back. Rick had no trouble dragging him out.

Yeah thanks glacierpaul for setting this up. It was an awesome first run with you guys. Had a blast! Looks like I definitely missed out on the last leg of the trail. That's some crazy lean in that rut Brad. Looking forward to the clean up run.
