Default Near Deadly Reminder to ALWAYS wear seatbelts/harnesses

This was no fun by any means, the buggy is equipped with safety nets, 5 point harnesses, and comes with air conditioned helmets... now if only yhose were used..

Amazing how quickly people get put back together at a hospital.. just over 24 hrs from fractured skull and brain damage /brain surgery and istalling a titanium plate, to being released from hospital and able to talk and function somewhat..

What are we looking at in the first pic? Is that blood and mud inside the buggy?

Give him our best Matt, sounds like he'll be okay but may take a while.

I definitely am too, when I pulled him out of the buggy it was on fire, and he was not conscious. I checked for pulse to make sure he's alive, and then concentrated on shutting off fuel line which was leaking fuel all over the exhaust. He finally opened his eyes as I was carrying him over to the truck

It seems like every year we lose someone else to a silly mistake while not wearing seat belts or harnesses. I am glad to hear he will be ok.

Glad he's going to be OK. That first pic is just downright creepy.
I work in the oilfield and one thing I've always said is there's a hundred things out there today that can kill us. If we can eliminate one or two by doing something simple like wearing a hard hat or safety glasses and we don't? Well shame on us. Same thing on the road or the trail.

That's awful, hope he makes a full recovery. I think he's overpaid for that lesson already, poor guy.
