    Talking Cascade Creek 4/26-4/27 -Idaho Springs-

    Trip progression located in TRP forum.

    Meet @ noon at the trail head for Cascade Creek off of Highway 103 South of Idaho Springs (approximately 5.5-6 miles) See Description here;

    http://www.traildamage.com/trails/index.php?id=126

    There will be an emphasis on dirt biking this weekend but don't let that detour you from coming up with your 4 wheel rig and saying hi and running the trail with us or joining us for the overnight.

    I'll bring some PBR and a few bundles of firewood.

    My name is Dustin and I can be reached @ 303-910-1020(call/text) for more information. I'm awake now (4:30 AM) I'll likely go back to sleep for another hour or two and be up to start packing.

    Looking forward to it gentlemen.

    That'll work out great dude! I guess the weather is supposed to be a little dicey tonight. Should make for a memorable outing.

    I just can't decide what bike to bring.

    If I was going alone I'd bring my little KE100. 'Cause it's a great little bike to play around on, but if we wanna do any real riding I may bring my 450X

    It's a big difference in gear load too, because the 450X bites sometimes.

    Dustin have been been riding in the snow before ? Iv been once with Chase and it was great ! I took my girl 125 and glad it did my 426 if a tank compared to he bike and I think it would do a better job then the 426 do to the power im sure it will brake lose andill have to pick that thing up all day. I think I fell 4 times on the 125 and had problems geting back up and wasnt fighting foot traction doing so.

    Adam, it was nice to finally meet you. I wish it hadn't been so cold and windy today, sorry we bailed on you. I think Chase and I just had the chill going on from waking up to such crappy weather. I can't afford to be sick again this week. Like I said this morning, the weather is only getting better. We'll get out for some riding.

    Chase, great to meet you as well brother. You're the real deal man. I'm super impressed with your knowledge and your abilities. Looking forward to next time dude! Let me know if you ever need anything.

    Got back in one piece did two loops one each way. It was one of the better rides I have had your guys messed out weather got better for awhile pretty much no wind while on the trail other the speed wind. Came back had fun making a fire ate lunch and went for that second loops. We gota get a bike ride when it warms up maybe we can do the. Same but add our wheeling rigs in the mix. Was nice chattin with you Dustin. Chase I for got to show off the hand guards, next time if you like.

    As far as the trail goes I went over a bunch of snow packed ice mostly up hill or down, puddles, mini lakes in the middle of the trail haha mini creeks all over the place the hill climbs were wonderful ground was lose but was abke to manage. One thing I noticed Iis thenplace Iis sadly full or garbage. I pick up some trash when I wasnt riding. Wish people will pick up after them selfs !
