    Default Recommend a good shop?

For Christmas, my father surprised me with some new suspension parts.

I was going to use my christmas break to install them, but I've been stalled by the vendor forgetting parts and a local shop was unable to understand what adjusting my coilovers entailed. Long story short, I've ran out of time and now must find someone in Colorado to install the parts. I can't do this by myself because I live on campus and lack the space, safety, and time to undertake this project.

What local 4x4 shops near Boulder do you guys recommend?

Glad you got new parts! Sorry I can't recommend anyone though as I don't live anywhere near there.

The only person I know is down in Lakewood. Kind of far and I don't know what he would charge to install the parts.

And the only person I know doesn't work on Toyotas.

You could try Slee Offroad. They are between Golden and Boulder.

I was thinking of trying Slee, hopefully they're not too expensive.

I'm pretty upset right now cause I just bought a new torque wrench and grease gun to use on the install and now it's looking like that won't happen. I'll make another call to another 4x4 shop a ways away here at home, but if that's a dead end, it's looking like CO is my best answer.

Agree with Slee. I have a buddy that had them lift his 4Runner. They're the local Toyota specialists from what I understand. Hit the toyo forums for more options.

My shop! But were a week out on scheduling and we are way south. I hear great things about Slee but also hear they are pricey. There is always high country but not sure on their scheduling and they are right next to us.

Brad, I know your shop specializes in Rovers, but if you were being serious, I will really consider it.

I asked Slee last year to weld on my sliders and the price was too high for me, with this install, I'm fearing for my bank account, haha. High country quoted me a great price on a CB install (I'm bad with electronics), so they're another viable option, but very busy.

We can do a lift install. Plus we have a alignment machine. I can ask Jeff tomorrow and see what it will cost.

Wow, thanks! I really appreciate it. Don't worry about penciling me in soon, I know you said scheduling was a week back. I won't even be back in CO until late next week.

I get all of my "serious" stuff done by Greg Beery in Longmont. He owns the 4WD Xtreme shop. 855 Weaver Park Rd. 303-776-1148.

X2 with what Sean said. Arron is a pretty cool guy and does excellent work, just over in Longmont as well. Sad to say but if it wasn't for Arron BSing with me about off-roading when I was younger, I probably would never have gotten into the hobby.

Wow! Thanks for the kind words guys. I do happen to do this kind of work. Sounds like someone else from the board has you taken care of this time. But if you happen to need some assistance with 4x4 stuff or any metal fabrication in the future I would be happy to quote you. Click on my signature for a link to my website and facebook page.

It's funny you say that because I need a cab mount chop done on the truck. I don't like shoddy welding or metalwork (I once paid $300 for terrible welds done on my truck) and from looking at your your work, I'm impressed. Consider my business earned, Mr. Brucker. Please quote me a price.

I need to know exactly what it is you need done. So either a couple good photos and detailed description or would need to bring it by sometime to let me look at it. Either way is fine. Feel free to PM me if you'd like to move forward, as I am not great at checking threads.

Update: Brought the truck to Brad at JC's British & 4x4 on Friday. Brad and the other techs did a wonderful job on my truck and gave me a great deal. I know this post is worthless without pictures, so I'll upload some tomorrow.
