Just wondering if anyone out there is interested, where we could go, etc, etc. I have a new set of chains just dying to go on a trial run.

I may be in for something easy (Bunce School Road). Definitely not in for a day of winching and shoveling.
Would be interested. Had fun last time on Bunce School Rd and Ironclads. Maybe Switzerland Trail & Sugarloaf would be ok to try.
mayyyyybeeeee
I'm getting real close to having my Bronco back on the trail/road. It would be a slim chance that it will be done by then but I look forward to bashing some snow in the near future.
Maybe.
Jim
Anyone know what the trail conditions are like up there? I'd be up for Bunce/Ironclads, maybe Rock Creek (isn't that the one you did some housecleaning on Jim?)

Pending confirmation of having the day off or not and what if any plans I may have...
I'm down.
I'd consider it if I'm around.
I've done three New Year's Day snow runs in a row. Likely would be up for this one.
Bunce is open again (from the south gate to Highway 7): http://www.fs.usda.gov/detail/arp/ne...TELPRDB5444157
Rock Creek is another option, but I don't know what the snow level is like on either trail. The BRD says there's 1 to 2 feet in most areas above 9,000. The Rock Creek trails starts at about 8,500 and does some climbing.
I might actually be down for this depending on conditions. I don't have chains but I guess I could source some 35" chains before then if necessary. First run with Front Range would be a snow run!
I have a set of 35" chains to lend. They would need to be picked up by Friday evening (tomorrow) in FoCo.

Wish I could but have plans this year.
I just found out I have the first off work!! The only problem I see is that I will be hung over....Where are we going!?
jim you wouldn't happen to want to sell those chains would you?
I'll lend'm for return, but am look'n to keep'm long term.
Happy hunting!
I think Bunce school road sounds like a plan, got a few areas there to play around, iron clads and T33. Looks like the north entrance is the way to go. Rob, where have you been meeting in Lyons the last few runs? I know Ace hardware lady doesn't like us
