Well, well. I've seen one up there too. Was this just west of the Mt Alto picnic area? That's where I saw one.

Video with bobcat @7:51. Not much to see as its in the shade. After it runs off it comes back and I screw up by attempting to zoom. Accidentally captured h snap in the fist post but lost further video.

Your photo shows the cat on the left side of the trail whereas the vid shows it on the right side, down the slope, up the slope and again on the right side. I imagine the vid would have showed all locations of the cat. Did you sit there for a bit, camera in hand, and the cat walked to the left side of the trail (but not show it on the vid?)? (there just seems to be a disconnect in events where I'm scratching my head - though it's a trivial thing)

Jim at the end of the vid. I attempted to zoom. It wouldn't. Video stopped. The cat started across and down the road While trying to restart video I accidentally snapped the still. Cat continued down and off through the bare spot on the left in the still. New video started byt cat gone.

We used to hunt them things in utah.
Lots of Ranch land up there.
Bobcat will kill the Animals to eat.
To us it was "pest control"
