that is a cool video! I watched a show on PBS recently called Mystery Cars. They were talking about the first prototype car that didn't have the tall skinny tires. They were standard back in the day, not because they couldn't build more modern tires, but because the roads were so bad. They needed the clearance of the tall tires and skinny tires to stay out of ruts. Paved roads brought the modern tires. Also, I think the original Model T was 1,300 pounds. Easy to pull or dig out of trouble.
