Default Dry St. Vrain, Miller Rock, and Rock Creek

Went out Saturday 4/27 to Dry St. Vrain, Miller Rock, and Rock Creek. It was myself, Rob, Jim, and Todd (wyota). Lots of fun.

Dry St. Vrain was open, a little mud, a little snow but the whole trail was passable.

Next we went to Miller Rock. We got a short way before Rob dipped a wheel over the edge. We all went through the same spot and then decided to back down and go on to Rock Creek.

At Rock Creek, Jim put his rear wheel drive Jeep to the test. I managed to video of his third run breaking trail.

Gorgeous weather, sunny with very little wind. Warm enough to drive back from Allenspark with the top down.

A great time and I can't wait to go out again

And at Rock Creek, the snow washed out all of my pictures. Here's the best one.

That sugary snow certainly was slick for my tires! I get a kick out of the vid.

    The weather was a treat.

Rob, I saw you. I was out riding my motorcycle, came around a corner and there you was! I have a picture from my GoPro. I will put it on tonight, when I get back home.

    From TrailDamage.com
"From Boulder take highway 36 north to the intersection with highway 66 just east of Lyons. Take highway 66 west through Lyons and turn left on highway 7. Take highway 7 west for 11.6 miles and turn right on Overpine Drive. It is marked as a private drive so do not stop. Turn right at the next intersection on Cedar Drive. Follow this road for about a quarter of a mile to the trailhead on the left."

Yes, it is a short, easy trail. It did offer a nice vista stop though.
