That video is awesome! I don't know if I'm laughing because it's funny or if it's funny because I feel like that sometimes.

On a serious note: I didn't know Jeeps had hill descent control... Isn't that 4Lo-1st gear?

I'm not surprised! That big dodge probably takes up most of black Bear. Have you done it? My buddy said it isn't as bad as it looks in the video and is even easier the second time you do it. Nothing too technical, just puckering.

Ok, so been kicking around the idea for the last month of turning my 57 into a wheelin rig thinking K5 chassis or something with about the same wheelbase. I have had the car for the last year and yes I could rod it out but want to do something different.

I am hoping so, K5 Blazer wheelbase is 106" the 57 is 115" so K5 chassis is out. So was thinking 67-72 K20 short bed has 115" Wb and 73-87 K20 short bed has 117" which is not to bad also 88-98 also 117" short bed.I am thinking 73-87 chassis any thoughts?

I'm with him. Black Bear isn't difficult and having run it numerous times everybody talks about the one way section and shelf roads there but that's a very small portion of the trail. It's a great scenic trail with a pucker section at the end. As I've mentioned before the BLM/FS or whoever it is that has responsibility for it drive, what I recall as stock F150's, showing there really aren't any obstacles to deal with. Just my
