Steel storage rack/chop line is coming along nicely. This is kinda how it will look when done. Still need more rollers and their adjustable mounts and a backstop with scale. And of course all the temp vertical bracing will be removed

Anyone ever seen precision ground 8 foot and 12 foot straightedge rulers? Finally received 2 of each for the new chop line. No more having to use a tape and a pencil
Don’t think I’ve ever seen that long of rulers.

Late last night/early this morning I finally got the rollers attached and leveled and in the same plane as the saw. Still need to add a fence and stop, and tie the saw into the chop line, but it is so nice to be able to effortlessly move materials in and out of the saw!

Got a bit of time this afternoon freed up so instead of finishing the chop line, I called it finished for now, and started filling it with materials. This will allow me to start moving equipment over to where the old storage rack was located, and free up the needed space for the other side of the chop line. Anywho, I am pretty happy with the way it has turned out thus far

Nice and clean!

Got a chance to work on the other side of my new chop line. The new rollers for this side should be in tomorrow. That means there is a chance that I could wrap this project up this weekend! That'd rock.
Nice.

Finished up more of the other side of my new chop line last night after the game. Got the adjusters made and installed, then installed, leveled, and planed out the new rollers. Just need to add a fence and stop to both sides and I am done. But it works VERY well as is. Has already saved me money as my productivity levels are up with the cut times being lower!
The left side of the saw is for sheet and plate and the right side is for sticks, rods, and bar stock. Each side has it's own area for drops. And the bottom right has an area for a small pallet to hold cut lengths for an individual project.
Looks great. That should increase efficiency.

BB is hiring?
Saw a curious addition on this car hauler moving down the road...
Two new delivery vans - with a clean rebuild between'm.
James' new job?
That rebuild looks too clean. I bet there's nothing on it to fix and James would be bored!
