Went winter camping with some buddies and my dog last weekend and we left Sunday to get home during the storm. We had hoped for snow while we were there but it didn't come until the day we left unfortunately.

Mountain Man Mike has a nice Lizard Head Pass video up (CO-145 - Cortez to Telluride) - filmed March 27 or 28. The vid starts out just south of the pass and extends past the Telluride round-a-bout to route 62 - the main intersection heading east to Ridgeway.

Some beautiful scenery with snow flocked trees and some (sunset) sun hitting the mountains. Snowy road to clear road to snow and back as elevations rise and dip.

** (Disclaimer: This video content is intended for educational and informational purposes only) **
Micanopy, Florida — Deputy Shon McGuigan was monitoring traffic in the area of I-75 and County Road 234 in Micanopy when he observed a gold Chevy Suburban plow through the stop sign coming off the interstate turning right onto County Road 234. The vehicle struck a curb and drove into the oncoming lane of traffic on County Road 234, and then began fleeing from Deputy McGuigan when he activated his lights and siren. The route of the pursuit began in the parking lot of Café Risque, turned onto County Road 234, where the suspect threw a Terrapin Cryosphere alcoholic beverage out the window. The suspect turned southbound on 441, first driving southbound in the northbound lanes before transitioning back to the correct side of the road.

He reached speeds of 100 miles per hour in a construction zone all while giving Deputy McGuigan the middle finger. Deputy McGuigan first tried to PIT Richardson’s vehicle several times when the suspect’s speeds were lower and did finally execute a PIT maneuver, causing Richardson to spin out in the median, but Richardson was able drive away, heading back northbound on 441, intentionally ramming Deputy McGuigan’s vehicle at least twice. Deputy Dasher deployed stop sticks unsuccessfully, and other law enforcement joined the pursuit, including FHP, Deputy Bryan Jones and Deputy Jasper Stephenson. The pursuit continued onto Cholokka Boulevard in Micanopy and finally back southbound on 441. Deputy Stephenson was finally able to initiate another PIT maneuver which was successful.

Deputy McGuigan made contact with the vehicle, and Richardson again, tried to drive away, but FHP and deputies Jones and Stephenson all pinned the vehicle in and apprehended Mr. Richardson without incident. Further investigation revealed that Richardson was a suspect in an identical incident in Marion County earlier in the day involving the Marion County Sheriff’s Office and FHP. Also, Mr. Richardson is on probation in Citrus County for DUI and Fleeing and Eluding Law Enforcement. His license had previously been revoked. He is charged with Fleeing and Eluding Law Enforcement, Aggravated Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer, Driving While License Suspended/Revoked, Reckless Driving and Citrus County has also advised they will be filing a violation of probation charges.

    - Suspect: Matthew Martin Richardson, 33 years old
    - Vehicle: 2007 Gold Chevy Suburban
    - Date: April 1, 2021
    - Time Incident/Pursuit Started: 10:12 AM
    - Time Suspect Apprehended/Pursuit Ended: 10:22 AM
    - Location Incident Started: I-75/SE County Road 234, Micanopy
    - Location Incident Ended: ½ mile into Marion County on US 441

I grew up a mile or so from there....the interstate exit next to cafe risque (topless club) was my daily commute. The exxon didn't exist in those days...at 44sec there is dirt road to the right, that was my turn home.

earlier than mine...has the round rear fenderwells...wish I could see the axles a bit better...those are big tires for stock axles. Front axle looks to be open knuckles. Popular swap is late 70's FSJ axles...D44 front and rear....

If I end up near it (south central FoCo) I'll grab some axle photos.

What is it (Make/Model)? I was thinking Toyota but James's comment seems to say Jeep...

South Africa - Brazen daylight attempt to rob a money truck/van.

The balls on this driver, he needs his own trailer for them I think.

    He's definitely had some training.

The first 50 seconds could go away, but not sure the time link works in the embeds.

    "Who is Leo Prinsloo?

He is a former member of the SAPS Special Task Force and the head instructor of its “Lone Operator” courses.

The unit is responsible for all hostage situations in South Africa and other specialised functions.

He is also the founder of The Edge Shooting Academy in Pretoria.

Prinsloo does work for security firm Fortis Pro Active Defence Solutions where got famous when he employed his skills to evade CIT robbers near Pretoria.

Now you get it, he was not just a Special Task Force member but an instructor, actually the head instructor of a course that specializes in surviving as a lone operator."

You don't exactly want a guy like that teaching his skills to the wrong sort. No worries though, they have it covered on their website:

Please note that the training that we provide is intended for good purposes in the fight of good vs. evil.

DO NOT CONTACT US IF YOU INTENT TO USE THE TRAINING WE PROVIDE FOR EVIL PURPOSES
