Went to ford.com/maverick last night and built a base model, Cactus Grey with only three options, the 110v outlets, fullsize spare tire and tow package as a potential replacement for my DD. With $2186.00 down, no trade in, it comes out to $21,885.00 or $372.00 a month for 60 months. It's cheaper than a decent used car even at full MSRP. I'm interested to see what the tax credits / incentives are for it, but even without that is very affordable and it's new; I've been looking at used vehicles for a few months and they all look like some degree of project and I'd rather make a payment than turn a wrench. Cool little trucks, can't wait to test drive one.
I just poked over to Inciweb and see nothing...
Does anyone know of any current / new forest fire up near FoCo? I'm seeing clouds that just seem like they could be smoke...

Pike/San Isabel has more dedicated info, not sure the A/R link I gave will provide much. For reference, the PSICC fire page is https://psiccfireinfo.blogspot.com/p...f-updates.html, and is where I get the RSS feed from.

Guess it's tick season. Came in from work last night and got ready to take a shower. And just just before I got in, I felt a pinch on my stomach. My immediate reaction was to look at what bit me and pull it off of myself. It was one of the largest ticks I have ever seen. It left a nice small bump/welt even. Thought it was odd as I hadn't been through any grass or trees. Literally worked all day from 7am to 2am except for a short trip to pick up more meds from the vet. But that was at around noon and the tick incident was about 2 or 230am. So not sure where I picked it up from. I did check the dog throughly and no signs of any.

In line with the nice Colorado history Paul found is this I came across recently - the history of different rail lines, some of which we use as trails today.

I had Syclone #429. That truck was so damned fast. And so unreliable. Good fun.
There also just weren't many of them made, <3000 Syclones and ~4000 Typhoons.
Been spending some time getting my thrills on 2 wheels lately. So glad to have bike back together and getting my normal life back after wreck last year. Made a video clip of a section from last week. Had to cover up the wind noise and the choices on youtube really are not great but better than the constant noise.

I reserved one of these last week and the dealer is already sending me offers, it may end up being even cheaper. The payments amount to lunch money, about $100.00 a week, and I can take another $20.00 off that for gas savings. It's almost like a free car.
