I'm enjoying the warm temps! I'm in the boat - they're here to stay (at least no more 0F temps for the season).
I don't think we're done with snow - but if we get any we'll have WARM days just before and right after.
‘Opt-out’ notice for state parks fee when licensing vehicles in the works; less clarity means more revenue
https://pagetwo.completecolorado.com...-more-revenue/
For those who routinely purchase a Colorado state parks annual pass, the lower cost option will be nice. For those who value smaller government, know of the opt-out process.
If a family has multiple vehicles, and wishes the lower cost annual pass, perhaps opt out on all vehicles but one of them?
I don't like that it's opt-out instead of opt-in. I spend a lot of time in State Parks, especially Golden Gate since it's so close and I'd opt-in if given the choice, but I think it's kinda dickish to do it this way.
I don't think most people will even notice and that's exactly what the state is hoping for. They are predicting that at least 1.1 million people will not opt out that normally do not buy a pass.
Personally I am excited to get a parks pass on every one of my vehicles for that fee. I always hated that you had to purchase a pass for such an exsorbenate price for just one vehicle and then pony up for half that fee for each other vehicle you have. Really sucks that you can buy a national parks pass for $80 good for you and another person any vehicle you are in. Making the access to our state parks affordable for more people to enjoy and have the enough funding to keep them up. Also providing great jobs.

They go for ridiculous prices these days....the early fc150 uses the exact same frame and drivetrain as the 4cyl cj5. The wide track fc's both look better and are a bit more stable. Fc170 is the long wheelbase version...came a couple years later and only in the wider track....would love this for a plow vehicle at the new place in Bozeman
