My "new" car came with a dented fender, hoping to try this over the weekend.

    ^didn't work.

I'm planning / hoping to take a month or so off next year and through hiking the Colorado Trail https://coloradotrail.org/trail/, or as far as possible. We're doing the first few sections already, probably going to start the through hike from the Kenosha Pass area.

I saw a story about the Colorado Trail Race this morning on the local news, apparently a local guy is being transferred and is getting it in before he goes. They're not packing much since they're running it, they have people meeting them along the way.

A little story; when I was 30 years old I wanted to bike down from my house packed for camping overnight and then ride home. I thought I would be in good enough shape to to it one day. So I wanted to see just how hard it would be to to ride the distance. I had Jan drop me off at Waterton Canyon and rode down to the start of the Colorado trail. Did a small part of the trail. Turned around and headed home. It was about 100°s by the time I was on the plate river trail got about a 1/2 mile from home made a detour to DQ on Belleview and called my wife to pick me up.

Needless to say I never road down and camped (yet!). I'm 61 years old and have started biking again and honestly if I get into any kind of shape that would allow me to do that. I'm going to give it a go. Who knows it could happen! (Angles in the out field)

I've been putting together a gear list for the Colorado Trail next year and have been watching some videos. This item @4:42 caught my attention, I guess I could try it...

There's the Knife's Edge. There was recently a recovery of a person who died falling off, and one of the people recovering the body was hit in the head by rocks dislodged by someone crossing the knife's edge and is still in the hospital. Colorado!
