Shop is slowly coming together. Delays abounded with this transition and despite my best efforts, we are still in the process of moving. Hoping to be up and running in most capacities by the beginning of December

Because of the time crunch due to the massive amount of work needing done, I haven't been able to list much for sale. So I haven't purged much yet, think that will come with the new year as I slowly organize the new shop. I have managed to get rid of a few items. 3 vehicles (and another supposed to leave next qeek), 2 complete sets of axles, few sets of tires, 2 King coilovers, and a bunch of misc parts.

So as some of you already know, I decided to sell my business and pursue work that will allow my wife and I some freedom to travel more and lesson the stress and hard work it is to maintain a biz.

I almost applied for a position with Englewood public school at the beginning of the summer but because we would have to change what we had planned for our vacations (basically forfit the trip to Ouray and our trip to the Grand Canyon) and I would have to find someone who would want to buy me out. So over the coarse of the summer I came across the perfect company that already works the area of my clientele (lawn maintenaince and snow removal). So I decided to go ahead. I hadn't lined up a job or even applied for anything because I needed to finish out the season and the company is going to take on the snow customers.

Well I figured that I would only apply for the Englewood schools job 3 weeks ago and do the clean-up work and not worry about scrambling for work until after the new year. So last Friday I got a call from the school system for an interview today. And it went very well, they said they are going to have HR contact me to move things along. I can't believe how things are falling into place. I'm so thankful for this opportunity. So stoked that the schedule will afford me weekends, holiday weeks and June/July off. So you know what I'll be doing a whole lot more of.

They will be fixed soon. Just need to wrap up closing out the business for the year. It's very hard to leave my clientele they have been teriffic over the years. I should be back on the road by the first of the year.

Yup money isn’t everything when you run a biz no matter how simple it is, there are so many
variables and stresses involved. It will be nice to clock in and clock out. And have the rest of the day,
weekend, vacation’s to do what ever! And not have so much on my mind that I can’t enjoy it. Hoot! Hoot!

Nice man! I've always been of the opinion that free time is more valuable than money. I'd take an extra day off over more money/pay raise any day.

Well, I just finished up college on Thursday and now it's on to being an adult. Ended up graduating from Montana Tech with degrees in General Engineering with a focus on welding, Mechanical engineering with a focus on welding, General Engineering and a minor in math. With that said if any of you know of any odd part-time jobs available until I get a full-time job, I'm all ears.

What job would be the "perfect job"? Are you looking to stay on the front range or willing to relocate if the job's good enough?

Perfect job would be doing actual welding engineering somewhere. As to what industry I'm still unsure in that regard just yet.

As of right now, I've had interviews with a company in Grangeville ID which is right on the Oregon/Washington border and with another company in New Orleans and got a call back from a company in Butte about working there. So we will see what I end up choosing if any decide to pick me. I applied to probably over 50 jobs in the front range area and haven't heard anything back from them but it could just be because of the holidays who knows.
